Leasing Pros—formerly Client Integration Services Leasing (CIS)—was born from a real-world challenge faced by our founder, a real estate owner’s representative and consultant for two of the country’s largest development firms. Tasked with turning around distressed and underperforming properties, he consistently ran into the same critical bottleneck: leasing.
Traditional on-site teams were slow to adapt, conversion rates were underwhelming, and stabilization timelines dragged on—costing owners millions in carrying costs and delaying returns. Frustrated by the gap between construction completion and cash flow, he took matters into his own hands. He assembled specialized in-house leasing teams using data-driven processes, aggressive outreach, and rigorous training.
The results were immediate and undeniable. Projects that typically took 18–24 months to stabilize were reaching 95%+ occupancy in under 6–8 months—often in one-third the expected time. Word traveled fast. Other developers, seeing the dramatic acceleration in lease velocity and NOI recovery, wanted in. What started as an internal fix became a full-scale contract leasing operation. That was the birth of CIS.

We’ve delivered over 100 successful projects across the U.S., from converting 1800s manufacturing buildings into modern multifamily lofts in our home base of Minneapolis, Minnesota, to distressed asset flips in Orlando, Florida, to new-construction residential towers around the country.
